The Participants::
1. For the 1st On Line International Contest of Sculpture 2 categories of Participation are established:
The participants in the denominated category Professional Sculptors will have to enclose Curriculum Vitae, being this an obligatory condition.
2. The applications will be done only by Internet and through applicant forms provided in this Web site.
3. The Participants will be able to participate individualy or in teams up to 4 members.
4. The Participants will have to complete all the conditions required in the applicant forms. Once the Inscription is done, each Participant will receive by e-mail an unique password of Access, that will allow them to send their Projects.
The Prizes
5. They are established as Prizes of 1st On line International Contest of Sculpture, the following amounts:
6. The Prizes will not be declared Deserted under any circumstances.
The Works:
7. Each Individual Participant or Team will be able to present up to 2 Projects, having to pay by each project the following amount:
8. The work will be original, unpublished and of free subject, and it will not be reproduced in the same measurement.
9. Using the mechanism established in the Web site, the participants will have to send 6 drawings of the project:

The drawings will be done Manualy or using a Computer. The drawings will be received only by digital files (one by drawing) with the following Technical Characteristics:

The Organizing Committee advises those who are not familiarized themselves with computing or cannot generate the required digital files in this point, to search for a suitable advice or to contact themselves with the Urunday Foundation: urunday@bienaldelchaco.com
10. The participants will have to take all the necessary precautions in the construction and the support of the work , since once located it will be in direct contact with the Public.
11. The material will be steel and the participants will be able to use color.

13. The costs of the materials do not have to be up to:
The calculations will have to be done having into account the cost of the steel in Argentina.
14. 20 projects will be preselected: 10 corresponding to Professional Sculptors and 10 corresponding to Emergent Vocations. The Authors of the Preselected Projects will have to construct their respective scale models (physical or virtual) and, using the mechanism and the specifications established in point 7 of this Regulation, they will have to send 6 photographies:
The photographies of the scale models, along with the other data corresponding to each Preselected Project (Authors, Titles of Works, etc.), will be published in the Web site.
15. The international jury will award one work by Category.
The public will be able to vote for one of the 20 Preselected Projects. The project with more amount of votes, will become creditor of the public prize.
16. The Awarded Works will be Cultural Patrimony of Chaco province and will be located in public spaces of Resistencia, the City of the Sculptures.
The Jury:
17. The Jury will be constituted by 2 international sculptors and one critic of art.
18. The Jury will write up a decision Act, not being able to abstain to vote none of its members in no occasion.
19. The Jury decision will be Unquestionable.
Terms:
20. Opening date : March 28th 2001
21. The applicant forms and the Payment of the Projects will be received up to October 28th 2001. The payments received after the closing will be given back to their senders, who will be in charge of the totality of the expenses of the remittance.
22. The reception of Projects finalizes on November 28th 2001
23. On December 28th 2001 the Organizing Committee will communicate the list of the 20 Preselected Projects. This information will be sent to the corresponding Participants by e-mail and it will be published in the Web site.
24. The photographies of the Scale models corresponding to the 20 Preselected Projects will be received until January 28th 2002
25. On February 28th 2002, the Organizing Committee will communicate the Prizes granted by the Jury. This information will be communicated to the winners and published in the Web site.
26. The Prizes corresponding to both categories will be paid during the Biennial of Chaco 2002, opportunity in which the winning works, with the presence of their authors, will be inaugurated. The cost of transfer and lodging, will be in charge of the Organizing Committee. The amount corresponding to the public prize will be sent to the winner according to his specifications.
The Organizing Committee
27. The Organizing Committee will be responsible of the construction of the work including its costs
28. The Organizing Committee has all rights reserved on the recordings in video shootings and photographies.
29. In case of breach of some of the points of the present regulation, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to admit or not the participant.
30. Any event or circumstance not covered by the present regulation, will be solved by the Organizing Committee.
